Introduction

00:00All right, hello and welcome to this training. As you can see from the title, what we're going to be covering today is the manifestation delusion. And as you can see from the overview, what we're going to be talking about more specifically is first the control delusion, the manifestation process, the evidence contract, the review, and your action items for the day or the next few days.

00:18So before we get started, if you want to work with me one-on-one, make sure to book a call from the link in the description. If you want this document along with its respective training that you're watching, then make sure to join the free community again from the link in the description.

00:31And if you want weekly newsletters helping you improve every aspect of your life, meaning health, wealth, love, and self, make sure to join the free newsletter again from the link in the description. With that said, let's get started and talk about the control delusion.

00:43So when

The Control Delusion

00:45people hear manifestation, they usually hear some version of think about what you want, believe strongly enough. Feel as if you already have it and the outside world will start moving towards you. And I understand why that idea is attractive.

00:59And I also think there is something real to it because your thoughts can absolutely affect your life. The useful question is how. So by the end of this training I want you to understand the actual process through which a desire in your mind can change what happens in your life while still keeping a clear boundary around chance other people and everything you do not control.

01:18I think the confusion starts when we skip the mechanism and jump straight from thought to outcome. This is how most manifestation teachings teach it. Right? You have a thought and then the outcome should appear. For example, you want money, love, health or a certain opportunity.

01:32So you focus on it and you wait for reality to reflect the thought back to you. A lot of people just do it that way, right? They think about things uh often and a lot and they think that this will make the thing appear in their reality. So if the results uh if the result actually arrives, the belief feels confirmed.

01:52But if it doesn't, people often fear uh blame their doubt, fear, or lack of alignment, which again makes almost any result fit the theory. Because if the result comes then it feels confirmed but if it doesn't then their process was not good enough.

02:10So any result that comes good or bad really fits the theory. And I've seen people become scared of their own emotions because because of this really they feel anxious about something they care about and now the anxiety itself feels dangerous because they think it may create the outcome that they fear which is not really the case.

02:28Right? that turns a normal human feeling into another problem to solve and the person spends more energy trying to control their feelings rather than dealing with the actual situation. And the same idea becomes much more dangerous when you apply it to suffering, illness, abuse, financial hardship, betrayal, and plain bad luck.

02:46People sometimes believe that they they cause these things because of their thoughts. But those things can come from causes you never chose, right? A much better starting point comes from separating influence from control. Epictitus opens uh the antiiridion by

What You Actually Control

03:02separating what depends on us from what does not. You can control your judgments, choices, preparation and actions. You can influence other people and circumstances through what you do, but their final response still belongs to them. And once you understand that line, we can explain manifestation without really needing your thoughts to directly command reality.

03:21So let's say you want a new career. You learn the skill. You meet the people people in the field. You improve your work. You apply for more opportunities. And you decide how long you're willing to keep trying. You can't force a particular company to hire you.

03:36Right? Yet your desire still matters because it can change almost everything you do before the final decision reaches somebody else. And relationships make this even easier to see. You can become more open, communicate more honestly, improve the way you choose partners, and hold better standards.

03:53And another person still has their own desires and their own boundaries. So real manifestation leaves their freedom completely intact and focuses your attention on the kind of person you are becoming and the choices you are making. So this is the central lesson I really want to teach throughout the rest of the training.

04:09A desire can

How Manifestation Really Works

04:11change your life because it changes what you pay attention to, how you interpret what happens, what you decide to do, and how often you expose yourself to situations that can produce the result. Once you act, reality gives you feedback. And that feedback then changes your beliefs and your next decisions and actions.

04:27And the process continues from there. It's basically a loop. In simple terms, the process goes from desire to attention, from attention to meaning, from meaning to action, and from action to evidence. each part affects the one after it. So if you understand that sequence, a lot of manifestation becomes easier to understand because you can see what each practice is actually supposed to change.

04:47And so visualization can help you rehearse. Affirmations can direct your attention or reinforce an identity. Clear goals can give you a direction. None of those practices though need to control the outside world to directly become useful, right?

05:01Their value comes from what they change in you before you meet the world. Which brings us to the actual process. So let's talk about the

The Manifestation Process

05:12manifestation process. So now we can start at the beginning. You need a desire clear enough to guide your attention and your choices. So a vague wish such as wanting more money or better relationships or a better life gives your mind very very little to work with.

05:27I want you to turn the desire into something specific enough that you can actually recognize movement towards and understand what the result would actually change for you. and bonus points if you actually attach a number to the desire so that you can make the progress ve measurable.

05:40And you need to start by actually describing the result you're really after. You're giving your mind a clear subject to essentially organize around. So if you want meaningful work, then decide what meaningful work really means to you. Decide what kind of work you want to do, who you want to help, what capability you need to develop.

05:58If you want a relationship, describe the kind of communication, commitment, and mutual behavior you want to experience. basically describe what kind of relationship you actually want and after that ask why you want it. Maybe you want more money because you want freedom or security.

06:13Maybe you want a relationship because you want intimacy or a shared life. Maybe you want to get married. Why do you want to get married? This deeper reason will help you understand which parts of the desire matter most. So you can actually recognize your progress even when the final result arrives in a form you didn't predict.

06:29And then give the desired give the desire a standard or a habit that you can actually use in your daily life meaning meaning an actual repeatable action. So if you want meaningful work perhaps you protect the time to build the skill and finish work other people can actually see.

06:44If you want a healthy healthy relationship perhaps you start learning how to communicate and stop rewarding behavior that repeatedly violates what you say you value. The desire now has actually something concrete to influence. And once a desire becomes important to you, your attention starts changing because you can't consciously process every person, problem, opportunity, conversation, and piece of information around you.

07:08So your mind constantly selects what seems relevant. So a clear goal changes that selection. This is one of the simplest ways I think a thought can begin affecting your external life. Just having a goal written down, measurable, specific, and so on.

07:22Because now you start noticing things that were already there and previously meant very little to you. But now that you have the goal, they mean a lot more. And so if you decide you seriously want to build a coaching business, for example, now conversations about people's problems start sounding different, right?

07:38You notice recurring frustrations, questions that people keep asking, and skills that you're maybe missing. And the world didn't suddenly create those facts for you. Your goal changed their relevance. Your goal changed what your reticular activating system is actually noticing.

07:55So they started receiving more of your attention. Now of course your mind can only notice information it actually encounters. So you need to spend time around people who understand the problem, who study good work, who ask questions and basically expose yourself to situations where the result actually matters.

08:13And if you only consume material that confirms what you already believe, then your attention becomes very active inside a very narrow set of information. Now your surroundings also shape what keeps entering your attention. The people you spend time with, the material you consume, and the situations you repeatedly enter all influence what starts feeling important or normal.

08:33So part of using manifestation well is really deliberately choosing environments that keep relevant information close enough for you to actually notice and use. Now, attention gives you information and then you have to decide what that information means.

08:47And this part matters because two people can experience the same event and make very different decisions afterwards. So, let's say somebody rejects your offer. One person reads that as proof that they're incapable and actually withdraws. Another person becomes curious about the message, the audience, or the offer itself.

09:03The event stays the same while the inter interpretation actually changes your next action. So try to separate events from the conclusions you attach to them. Somebody said no, you messed up the practice. A conversation went badly. Just describe what happened as objectively as you can before attaching some madeup story about it.

09:23Your first emotional explanation often contains much more certainty than the event actually gave you. And this is also where your beliefs start affecting your outcomes. If you believe you can learn and improve, you're more likely to stay engaged long enough to collect the necessary information and feedback to actually learn and improve.

09:42So if you believe one failure proves the whole effort is pointless, then your behavior will change immediately. Belief matters because it changes the meaning and interpretation you assign to events and the decisions and actions that follow.

09:56So in any situation, good or bad, try to analyze your interpretations because they often show you your beliefs. One of the easiest ways to really destroy a limiting belief is to first notice it, of course, but then analyze it and then create doubt around it by finding evidence of the opposite.

10:11And you need to let new evidence change the explanation. So if several suitable people misunderstand the the same offer, you may need to change the message, right? If somebody repeatedly ignores a clear relationship boundary, you may need to change what access they have to you or how clearly you communicated that boundary.

10:30A useful belief helps you act and still leaves enough room for reality to correct you. And eventually the desire has to change something you actually do in your day-to-day life. You can visualize the conversation, repeat the affirmations, and think about the future for months while the outside world receives no new information from you because you haven't really taken any action in the physical reality where most stuff happens.

10:53So action creates contact. You publish the work, make the offer, you ask the question, you start the training plan or have the conversation and now another person or a real condition can respond, reality can respond. And so in fact, visualization works really well when you use it to prepare for the moment of action and the difficulties that arise with it that arise with action.

11:18So picture yourself beginning the action, reaching the part you usually avoid and continuing anyway while some discomfort is still present. And then the exercise becomes much more useful when you actually finish by naming the first real action that follows it because the point of the rehearsal, the visualization is really to make the actual behavior easier to perform.

11:39Now psychologist Peter Gwitzer actually studied a simple simple

Implementation Intentions

11:44planning tool called implementation intentions. The core idea is that the motivation and wanting it don't reliably survive contact with real life. People usually fail at follow-rough at the same predictable moments. Usually when they hit a specific obstacle like fear, distraction, awkwardness, tiredness, social friction, etc.

12:01Implementation intentions are how you predecide your response before that obstacle shows up. So you don't have to really think your way into good behavior in the moment. So if you know you delay finished work whenever you fear the response, you need to decide what you will do when that urge shows up.

12:17So you reduce the number of decisions you have to make while the emotion is already active. Essentially, it's an if then plan. If this situation or trigger happens, then I will do this specific thing. The situation or trigger can be something concrete and predictable.

12:33Then the response can be something you can actually execute. So instead of relying on willpower, you build a default behavior that kicks in when the trigger appears. And like I said earlier, desire becomes attention. Attention becomes meaning.

12:45Meaning becomes action. And action creates evidence. The weak link for most people is the moment right before action when the obstacle shows up and the mind starts negotiating. So implementation intentions basically protect the action uh step by removing decision-m at the exact point where people tend to stall.

13:04So, if you notice you procrastinate where when you're about to publish something because you fear judgment, then you need to open the draft, set a timer for 20 minutes, and only do the next edit pass, not finish the whole thing. Right? If you feel the urge to scroll or check messages when the work gets mentally uncomfortable, then you put your phone in another room and you restart with one tiny task you can complete in 5 minutes.

13:24If you avoid a hard conversation once your body starts getting tense, then you say you need 10 minutes, you write the two sentences you actually need to say, and you come back and start with those two sentences and have the conversation. You don't win by having a better mindset in the abstract.

13:40You win by deciding ahead of time what you'll do at the exact moment your usual avoidance patterns start. And that's how you turn a goal into repeatable contact with reality, which is what creates evidence. And once you act, you finally get information that thoughts on their own can't necessarily produce.

13:55People respond, your body responds, the market responds, reality responds. Sometimes the answer helps you immediately. And sometimes it disappoints you. But either way, you now have evidence. And that evidence completes the first half of the process and gives us the material we need for the final section, which is the evidence contract.

14:15So once your desire

The Evidence Contract

14:18has changed your behavior, reality really starts giving you something back, right? You make the offer and somebody answers. You train and your body responds over time. You communicate a boundary and the other person shows you what they do with it.

14:28This response is important because your mind now has real evidence to work with and that evidence begins changing both your belief in the method and your belief in yourself. So an important caveat here is to treat the response as pure information, just a data point, just feedback.

14:43It doesn't say anything about you or your value. If an offer fails, the problem may be in the audience, the message, the timing, or the offer itself. It has nothing to do with you. It just might mean you need to do some extra work. If a relationship keeps producing the same conflict, then the pattern gives you information about your compatibility and behavior.

15:01You basically want to know what the response actually tells you so that your next decision improves. The stories your mind will try to invent about your value as a person are inaccurate and will always distract you from objective reality. So if you keep listening to them, you won't really know what the real action or decision to take really is.

15:20Now if your own mind keeps producing those distorted stories, you need a source of information that it can't rewrite as easily. And the most direct one is other people. So let them describe their experience of you. A customer can tell you what they understood uh of the offer.

15:36A coach or teacher can show you where your skill breaks down. Somebody close to you can actually tell you how your behav behavior affects them. Their response gives you access to information that you can't really generate by thinking alone.

15:48And then from there, repeated evidence also changes what you believe about yourself. So I still use a affirmations and I actually think they work much better when your behavior keeps giving the words support when they get confirmed. Right? If you say you're a writer, for example, and regularly finish work another person can read, the identity becomes much easier to believe.

16:09If you say you're disciplined and repeatedly return to the habit after you've missed a few days, which is what real discipline is, by the way, your own history gives the statement more weight. So selfrust grows from a pattern of

Building Self-Trust Through Evidence

16:21promises you actually keep. Pick a repeatable action connected to the identity and just perform it. And I'm not talking about keeping a perfect record. You just need enough experiences of following through on the promises you made yourself and returning to the thing after making mistakes that your mind has a reason to expect the behavior from you again.

16:40Missed promises belong inside that process as well. When you miss, look at what happened and just adjust the condition that made the action difficult. If something is repeatedly creating friction, that's feedback, right? Iterate and then return at the next reasonable opportunity.

16:54If you repeatedly repair quickly, then the evidence you collect includes your ability to recover, which matters much more than pretending you never lose momentum. And this is the point where

Turning Manifestation Into a Feedback Loop

17:05manifestation becomes a loop. You start with a desire, your attention changes, you interpret what you notice, you act and reality gives you evidence. Now you can use that evidence to update your beliefs and your method. Then you act again with better information.

17:19And over time, that repeated cycle can change your skills, environment, relationships, and chances of getting the result you originally wanted. So decide in advance what kind of evidence would actually make you change the method. Because once you get emotionally attached to an approach, your mind starts bending almost any result into confirmation.

17:35If several people misunderstand the same offer, the message probably needs work, regardless of how attached you are. A health problem that keeps returning is really your cue to bring in professional guidance. When somebody keeps breaking your trust in the same way, then you're looking at information about the relationship itself.

17:53Whatever criteria you choose, give them enough authority to actually change what you do. And give the method enough time to produce a real pattern as well. Some feedback can arrive within days. Yes, while skills, businesses, and relationships often need months of effort before the evidence means anything.

18:09So, you need to pick a sensible review point ahead of time and keep working until you reach it. Because one uncomfortable result tells you almost nothing on its own. And people who judge the whole method by it usually quit things that were actually working.

Manifestation in Practical Terms

18:23And that's really what I mean when I talk about manifestation in a practical sense. Your desire directs your attention. You interpret what you notice. The interpretation then shapes what you do and the action produces evidence that updates your beliefs and improves the next attempt.

18:37So you still live with uncertainty, chance and other people's freedom. And at the same time, your inner life now has a clear path into the parts of reality your choices can genuinely affect. So once you

How to Apply the Process

18:51understand the whole process, it becomes pretty simple in practice, right? Take one desire you care about and run it through the sequence. Just get clear on the result and the reason behind it. Notice what information becomes actually relevant.

19:03Decide what the information actually means. Choose an action that creates contact with reality. And then use the response to improve the next attempt. Keep the daily behavior observable and measurable so that that you know whether you're actually participating in the process.

19:16So if your desire concerns work, choose a practice or some kind of finished output that you can actually point to. If it concerns a relationship, choose behavior you control. And you basically want evidence from your own actions as well as the final result.

19:30And then make sure to arrange your surroundings so that the action becomes frictionless as much as possible. And when the process gets messy, just return to the sequence instead of making the setback mean more than it does. Look at what happened, update the explanation, make one correction, and then create another point of contact with reality.

19:46Each round gives you a little more information about yourself, the method, and the result you're actually trying to create. With that said, let's go over the review. We talked about the

Review

19:57overview, the control delusion, the manifestation process, the evidence contract, the review, and finally, your action items for the day or the next few days. First, choose one desire and

Your Action Items

20:06describe the result clearly enough that you would recognize progress toward it. Write down why it matters and which parts of the situation belong to your choices, preparation, and behavior. And then leave chance and other people's final decisions outside that list.

20:18Then turn the desire into one observable behavior that creates contact with reality. Just decide what information you need to notice, what obstacle usually gets in the way, and what you will do when that obstacle appears. Then use visualization or affirmations only if they help you perform that behavior more consistently.

20:37And then finally, after you act, record what happened and decide what the response actually teaches you. Keep what works. Correct the part that the evidence keeps identifying. And then from there, repeat the process long enough to collect a real pattern, real evidence, and then let your beliefs grow from both the intention you hold and the evidence your actions keep creating.

20:57With that said, I
